Who we are
Whiff.Wine is a product of ONEdotFive LLC, 1201 Orange Street, Suite 600, Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware 19801, United States of America. We are the data controller for the information described here. For anything about your data — access, correction, deletion, or a question about this notice — write to legal@whiff.wine. For anything else, hello@whiff.wine reaches us just as well.
What we collect
Only what you type into the form on this page:
- Your email address.
- Which list you chose — Wine Producer or Wine Enthusiast.
- The date and time of your submission, and the IP address the submission came from, both recorded automatically by our form provider for spam prevention.
That's the whole list. We don't ask for your name, we don't ask for your age, and we have no way to identify you beyond the address you give us.
Why we collect it, and on what basis
To email you news about the Whiff.Wine launch, and to know whether to write to you as a producer or as an enthusiast. Our legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time, and withdrawing it doesn't affect anything we sent before you did.
Who else touches it
- Formspree Inc., United States, receives and stores form submissions on our behalf.
- Vercel Inc., United States, serves this page and keeps standard server logs.
Both act as our processors under contract and may not use your data for their own purposes. Because they are US-based, transfers out of the EEA and UK rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers, and we do not use it to build a profile of you.
This page sets no cookies
There is no analytics, no tracking pixel, no advertising tag, and no third-party request of any kind — the fonts and images are served from our own domain. Nothing is stored on your device, so there's nothing for you to consent to or opt out of beyond the form itself.
How long we keep it
Until Whiff.Wine launches and we've sent the launch announcement, or until you ask us to remove you — whichever comes first. If the product doesn't launch within 24 months, we'll delete the list.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can email legal@whiff.wine and ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy. Every email we send will also carry a one-click unsubscribe link. We'll respond within 30 days, and there's no charge.
If you're in the EEA or UK, you additionally have the right to object to or restrict processing, and to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. If you're in California, you have the right to know, delete, and correct — and note that we do not sell or share personal information as the CCPA defines those terms, so there is nothing for you to opt out of.
Children
This is a wine product. It isn't directed at anyone under the legal drinking age in their country, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a minor has signed up, tell us and we'll remove the record.
Changes
If we change how any of this works before launch, we'll update this notice and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll email the list rather than expect you to check back.
